Parker Communications, the production company for the Gay Life & Home Show, has a wide breadth of business-to-consumer and consumer-to-consumer marketing and advertising experience. Our expertise comes from the publication of two local area magazines encompassing the wedding/union and tourism industries as well as previous expos specifically geared toward the region’s gay and lesbian consumer market. The magazines were sold when Parker Communications launched into the increasingly popular industry of business-to-consumer and consumer-to-consumer sales through online auction marketplaces. It was then we opened our storefront location in Old Town, Alexandria: PLANET AUCTION, which is fast becoming the area’s premiere eBay drop-off center.

Our experience in marketing, advertising, event planning and promotion together with a solid connection to myriad local and national businesses and the region’s gay consumer allow a powerful nexus for understanding the needs of gay men and women while identifying the businesses and services best able to meet those needs.
